Associate, Capital Formation & Investor Relations
Position Overview
We are seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Associate to join our Capital Formation & Investor Relations team. This role is critical to supporting Filion Capital's fundraising efforts and maintaining strong, transparent relationships with our global investor base. The Associate will be instrumental in creating marketing materials, managing data, facilitating investor communications, and supporting the execution of our capital raising strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain deep exposure to the business side of a private equity firm and build a career in investor relations and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and production of all fundraising materials, including pitch books, tear sheets, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and presentation slides.
- Help maintain and update the firm's investor database (CRM), ensuring all contact information and interaction notes are accurate and current.
- Assist in the preparation for investor meetings and annual meetings, including crafting agendas, generating reports, and compiling presentation materials.
- Conduct market and investor research to help identify and profile potential new Limited Partners (LPs).
- Draft regular investor communications, including quarterly newsletters, performance updates, and capital call notices.
- Support the team in responding to LP due diligence requests and ad-hoc information queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Aid in the coordination of fundraising logistics, including managing the virtual data room, scheduling meetings, and tracking the status of investor commitments.
- Analyze and summarize competitor fundraising trends and market data.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, investment banking, or a related field within the financial services industry. Exceptional new graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
- Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and a strong sense of discretion when handling confidential information.
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
- A genuine interest in global markets and the private equity industry.
